Mayan Cacao Ceremony with Guatemalan Wisdom keeper Izaias Sajvin Mendoza

The 30th of October carries the energy of 7 Ajmaq. Ajmaq symbolized by the bees, is the Nawal (Mayan Sign) of healing, forgiveness, reconciliation, and renewal.

This sacred energy invites us to release guilt, shame, and unworthiness, and to bring harmony back into our lives and ancestral lines. It honors the womb of our grandmothers and supports healing for women, men, and ancestors alike.

✨ Healing, forgiveness, releasing guilt, shame, worthlessness ✨
This is the day of awakening, of beginning new things and opening new cycles in our lives. It is the energy of rising like the sunrise.
Ajmaq is represented by the bees. It is the Nawal of forgiveness, reconciliation, guilt, shame, and healing. It connects us with the Earth, with the womb of the woman, and with the ancestral roots from which we come.

It is a day dedicated to femininity and the womb of our grandmothers. This ceremony is held in honour of our women, our wives, sisters, and grandmothers. It is also a day to bring healing to the wombs of women who have lost their babies, to bless pregnancies, and to support the energetic healing of women who desire to conceive.

This energy brings us the opportunity to reconcile and heal our lives. Many of us carry wounds of failure, guilt, shame, or embarrassment. Often, we repeat patterns of feeling unworthy, unseen, unheard. These burdens can come from our ancestors, and today we are invited to release them and let them go.

With the spirit of cacao and the healing plants, we find support to release and renew our energy, bringing back sweetness into our lives — the sweetness that the bees so generously provide.
This is a good day to heal our relationships with our grandmothers and with all of our ancestors. You may bring flowers — the most beautiful flowers you can imagine — to honour your mother, your grandmother, or that special person in your life. And not only for the women: you may also bring them for a grandfather, a father, or a man in your family who needs healing, because this is a day of healing for both the feminine and masculine.
